Berks real estate agency collecting donations for veterans
May 25 – Beginning in June, Richard A. Zuber Realty will be collecting non-perishable food and toiletries for local veterans.
The collections are for the nonprofit organization Veterans Making a Difference, which is dedicated to helping veterans in need in Berks County, Zuber Realty said in a press release.
Items will be picked up from Zuber Realty offices in Boyertown and Royersford during business hours all month.
Special collection days are scheduled at the Boyertown office on June 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at the Boyertown Redner Market on June 18 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cash donations, checks or gift cards are also accepted and encouraged.
The donation drop-off points are:
—Zuber Realty offices, 201 E. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, and 384 N. Lewis Road, Royersford
—Redner’s Market, 116 County Line Road, near Boyertown.
“Thanks to the generosity of shoppers, we have consistently collected 10 or more grocery carts full of items en route to Veterans Making a Difference,” said Jody Dolansky, chair of Zuber Realty’s Community Outreach Committee in a press release. .
The press release says that on or around July 4, Zuber will load the Zuber bus with community donations and head to the Hope Rescue Mission in Reading and the Paul R. Gordon Social Center where Veterans Making a Difference has a guard. -to eat.
